‘Crastination

The following pastiche is best read while listening to Stevie Wonder‘s studio version of Superstition, with grateful thanks to him:

Very supercilious, writing isn't whole,
Very supersidious, Darth about to fold,
Thirty month old thesis, crack the ceilin' glass,
Seven years of grad' stuff, the good grades in your past.

When you're naive with things that you don't understand,
Such a bummer,
'crastination ain't the way

Very supertedious, watch your fate and stand,
Rid us of a problem, solve all that you can,
Write it in the thesis, keep not doin' wrong,
You don't wanna quit here, that is my song.

When you retrieve big things that you got second hand,
Then you buffer,
Dissertation is the way, yeh, yeh.

Very cyberspecious, nothin' more to sway,
Very hibernatious, the due sleep's on its way,
Thirty month old maybe, smash the ceilin' glass,
Seven years of pot luck, the moot feels moving fast.

Then you're bereaved of things that you don't understand
The whole su-u-u-ummer,
'crastination ain't the way, no, no, no
